Also from the show and manga not everybody can learn shunko. Only soifon and yorchia knew how to do it.

Well that's not really our main focus here considering there doesn't seem to be many restrictions other than they're both assasins....

Lightning strikes yoroichi's back.
anyway to sum this all up, since soi fon didn't know about this she obviously didn't master it. so when she preformed shunko it reverted to an unmastered form.

Well yes but i think there should be some kind of rule like you have to have a certain amount of skill in hand to hand because you can't do shunko with a blade as i recall... or i might just be wrong... not sure

I'm this close to finding the part when she uses it in the manga, I saw that episode not long ago, and I am definietly sure that she was not hit by a lighning!

well that is true. i donno, to me it's more about people who are more advanced in kido

Well i'm pretty sure the lightning was the kido o.o i mean even what 'is face fighting ikkaku said it's not lightning that's kido... remember?

Well, either way, I'd like to train shunko as well ^^ I'll say my lightning is dark blue since you already took black, and it would be confusing as my zan ability already is black lightning

okay well i dont really think that you can teach it, cause i already put up this thread. and i already put out on the 1st post that your lightning can be any color you want. if you want i could make it a school and you could be my 2nd in command teacher
